Window cleaning solutions don’t have to be difficult, so you can DIY and get it right first time. It has to be said though that some people prefer to ask the pros to come over. What many people don’t realise is that a window cleaner’s tool is basically his squeegee, so why can’t you do the same job as the pros?
One of the basic parts of window cleaning solutions is to look for the right materials to use. You might want to go to a store and purchase items, or you may be patient enough to go around the house and you will discover that you have them stocked inside the cabinets all along. Some of the basic things you need are extension poles and a trusty bucket that doesn’t leak!
Now that you’re ready, be sure to put some window cleaning solution into a bucket of warm water and then you can start. To avoid streaking, don’t put too much liquid mixture in the bucket. Stir well until combined and ready to be applied. Rub the mixture on the glass panes with your foam sponge. In some cases you might find it appropriate to use a scrubber when you have some stubborn dirt to remove.
If the glass panes are at great length, the extending pole will make it convenient for you. If you find you have an area that has been filled with cobwebs then the best tip is to spray this with a hose first to get rid of the dirt in the corners. If you ever find that you cannot procure a scrubber and foam, you can always utilize a worn- out cloth. It is actually more suitable since more of your force will be required.
You want to be able to stand back and admire your handiwork when you’ve finished, so make sure there are no droplets of water left on the window panes. For streaks to be avoided the foam and scrubber should end at the base of the window and you should follow a single direction for uniformity. Also, rather than wipe the wet areas away, letting the water evaporate is a much better solution.
