Travelling with your ‘toys’ – anything to declare Madam?
Maybe you are planning a romantic weekend, or possibly, you are going on a long business trip. Perhaps you are jetting off on your Honeymoon or maybe you’ve rented a dreamy chalet in the snow? Wherever you are jet-setting off to – make sure that you pack your adult toys well to avoid any embarrassing (and possibly very public) situations.
So, how do you pack adult toys? Firstly, remove the batteries. Even if you feel that your vibrator is difficult to turn on, a little shift in the contents of your luggage could easily knock the control to the ON position. You really don’t want to have to explain what is vibrating in your luggage to security personnel or customs officers. Dildos pose less of a problem in this respect because they are normally made of silicone / jelly / rubber and have no metal or mechanical parts.
Place your dildos or vibrators in clear plastic baggies. Airport personnel routinely check-through passengers’ luggage so if you’re chosen at random for a luggage inspection, you’ll be glad your toys are zip-locked away. Customs staff always wear plastic gloves, but you really don’t want their gloves, which have been touching everyone else’s personal items, to touch your intimate toys too. Do the airport staff and yourself a huge favour and place each item in a clear plastic zip baggie to keep everything hygienic.
Always place your vibrators in your checked luggage. This just removes you from a potentially tricky situation a little bit. If you bring a vibrator in your carry-on luggage, well, you are just asking for an embarrassing situation to occur.
Bear in mind also that vibrators are not allowed in certain countries – especially if they are shaped like a phallus. If you take one in your checked-in luggage – you may have to go through the red channel and declare it – and it may be confiscated. One such country where ‘obscene items’ are illegal is Thailand. There, you might get away with importing a traditional slimline vibrator and pass it off as a ‘massager’ for your bad back – however, if your vibe is penis-shaped, expect that it will be confiscated!
In the USA, Texan customs officers will not be sympathetic if you have a suitcase full of vibes – to own more than three such ‘marital aids’ is currently illegal in that state. Therefore, do a quick Google check of what the laws are in the particular state or country you are travelling to.
Finally, don’t travel with your favourite vibe or with your top of the range most-expensive toy. It is best that you take along an inexpensive alternative or buy something completely new especially for the trip. At sites like LoveTheRabbit.com you’ll find many jack rabbit vibrators articles, information, raves and reviews and links to stores that stock them.
This way, if your luggage is lost, or your strap-on dildo confiscated or if your vibe breaks in transit – you will not have lost your favourite ‘friend’ or your most expensive toy. Bon voyage!

There are things you can see and places you can go in a campervan that you simple wouldn’t have experienced if you’d stuck with bog standard holidays, so what are the essential things to get right.
Van. There have been some nightmare stories of people failing to taking out reliable cheap van leasing deals and the van dying within the first few miles. If this is not some that appeals to you then it’s advisable to either purchase van and have it looked over by a professional or alternatively hire or lease a van from a well established company. Mercedes van leasing is a pretty good option as these vans are pretty sturdy and rarely break down, but always give them a good drive before you set off on your trip just to make sure everything works properly.
Money.Getting your finances sorted for your trip is no easy task as things tend to pop up that you didn’t expect. You’ll have to take a certain amount of money for the essentials like food, drink and gas, but its well worth leaving some aside as a back up. Time. So you’ve got your Citroen van leasing sorted, you’ve packed it all up, now all you need is a relaxed state of mind. Plymouth Vacations and Tourist Attractions to Visit
Vacations in the UK seem to be amazingly popular at the moment, due to the present depression and the low value of the pound Sterling. England has a large number of first class tourist destinations including London (the English capital city) and other fascinating cities plus a collection of seaside resorts such as; Blackpool, Bournemouth, Brighton and Bognor Regis. One town commonly overlooked is Plymouth in the south of England.
First appearances are that Plymouth appears a little plain and principally modern, but looking a bit deeper and you will soon find that the city of Plymouth has a fascinating history and a deep association with the sea. As far back as the fifteen hundreds there has been a port in Plymouth. In 1588 Sir Francis Drake embarked from the port to successfully defend the English by defeating the Spanish Armada. Another historic moment occurred in sixteen twenty when the port served as the last embarkation point for the Pilgrim Fathers on their journey to North America.
It is possible to take reasonably priced short breaks in Plymouth by booking rooms in Plymouth bed and breakfast rather than booking a expensive hotel. Searching online will show that rooms are available from as little as £29 a night and many places have dinners at a very reasonable cost, often equal to, or less expensive than local restaurants.
Tourist Attractions In Plymouth
There are numerous interesting places to visit in Plymouth. Popular tourist attractions include; Merchant’s House Museum, the Elizabethan House, the Barbican district and the National Marine Aquarium. A cruise around the waters of the port is a superb way to spend some time and if you discover that you have more time to spare why not take a day trip to other places outside Plymouth, for example; Buckland Abbey, Saltram House or Mount Edgcumbe.
Saltram House is a pretty Tudor Mansion which is situated 2 miles from the town of Plymouth, Mount Edgcumbe is a further Tudor house with coastal paths, parklands and landscaped gardens, and Buckland Abbey, around six miles from Plymouth, is a Cistercian abbey which was once owned by Francis Drake and was at a later date renovated as a family home.
If you are in the process of deciding upon spending a few weeks in the city of Plymouth it is immensely important that you reserve your accommodation at the earliest moment as, sadly hotel accommodation in Plymouth tend to be alarmingly busy and are commonly fully booked for a long period in advance. If you are travelling in a group you might find that apartment accommodation in Plymouth are a more affordable option to bed & breakfast accommodation in Plymouth. If you are visiting Britain from overseas then you should consider making a reservation for a room in London hotels to take in the sights of the capital city of England also.
Celebrating Christmas
Christmas is one of the few occasions when my entire family gets together for a reunion. They all come to my grandparents house, and just spend a couple of days celebrating by opening presents, playing games, eating lots of food, drinking and talking. I know this sounds like a lot of fun, and you probably wish your family did the same, but for me, it’s one of the worst experiences.
Nearly all of my male relatives are involved in politics, one way or another. Sharing this passion, they spend most time talking about their political careers, which don’t interest me in the slightest. I try to find other activities, such as talking to my cousins, but they’re so young I don’t know what to talk to them about. However, this means I don’t have to listen to my other relatives talk, so it’s definetely a good thing.
Running out of things to talk to them about is a bad sign, and it usually meant I had to sit at the Christmas table and just nod absent mindedly. The TV didn’t help, as only Christmas movies and shows were on, and I pretty much know all of them. Good thing for me I remembered one of my Christmas presents I’d never really used.
My iriver h10 20 gb mp3 really helped make time pass much quicker. I was finally free of having to listen to their boring conversations, and even though my parents were quite mad, because they said what I was doing was rude, I didn’t care. I was finally enjoying Christmas, thanks to my player.
When the time cam to move out of my parents house, I did, but my little player moved with me, and whenever our big family reunion is coming up, I start loading it with music, in preparation.
The Top Transport Methods For Cruising In The USA
Many of the top roads in the world can be found in the States. Route 66 is probably the most famous road but there are many more like that all over. There are great roads covering the length and width of country so getting around on them is as easy as pie. But what is the best form of transport on youradventure holidays in America?
Camper van. In true back-packer fashion you can pick a cheap campervan at one end of the country and trek across the states in until you sell it at the other end. This method is ideal if you are travelling as a group as there will be plenty of room for everyone. Additionally, you don’t have to keep stopping for accommodation and food as you can carry those with you wherever you go
Convertible. There is no more iconic image that breezing along the straight long roads with the sun on your face and the wind through your hair. The convertible car is a vehicle that is synonymous with American transport and there is a massive choice of pick from. Personally I would go for an old Cadillac and would rent rather than buy one. This is what a lot of people do when they take fly drive holidays All you need now is a model girlfriend/boyfriend and some country and western on the radio to make your trip complete
Motorbike. Traveling around on two wheels is one way to put some fun into your trip, especially if you’re bike is big and the sun is out. This truly is the ultimate way to travel across the states and experience all that the American scenery and culture has to offer. If you’re not sure which bike to go for, then opt for a Harley. These bikes are sturdy as anything and demand respect on the roads. Rent shops are found across America. If you don’t want to spend you’re whole trip in the hospital, ride carefully and kit yourself out with some high quality safety gear, including a helmet
Important Things To Know about Spending Time In Blackpool, England
Blackpool is an incredibly popular seaside resort found on the English North West coast, which remains popular with visitors from the nearby towns which include Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington and more. The town is also fanatically popular with people from Scotland who turn up in large numbers in a similar way to the hordes of factory workers of the past on their works vacation. Occasionally it would seem as though the town is nothing but accommodation and entertainments and even though there is an incredibly amount of bed & breakfasts in Blackpool it is better to book in advance to be sure. Hotels varies from the cheerful and cheap to five star. You will find many on the sea front and, if you would rather stay somewhere less noisy there are a few further inland.
In the eighteenth century Blackpool began to see its first tourists who came to indulge in the new practice of sea bathing. When the railway arrived, from 1846, Blackpool witnessed increasing numbers of visitors to”take the cure” as sea bathing was called then. Today tourists can get to Blackpool by aeroplane, railway or automobile arriving there much faster than the early Victorian factory workers who could take up to 48 hrs from as nearby as Manchester.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach
The most busy attraction in the seaside town of Blackpool, in Lancashire, which attracts roughly seven million visitors a year, is Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The Pleasure Beach is a large scale funfair with fear inducing big rides, for example Ice Blast, Grand National, Valhalla, the Big One, Wild Mouse and Zipper Dipper, and including many, many more food booths, thrill rides, sideshows, sidestalls and games. The latest addition is Infusion, the first ever to feature a suspended looping coaster all of it being over water.
Please note: If you are planning to visit the Pleasure Beach as a family or group it is possible to save pennies by purchasing a wristband for unlimited rides especially if you will be going on as many rides as you can handle as individual prices soon adds up.
How To Get There And Accommodation
As mentioned earlier in this article, Blackpool is very easy to get to these days as it is possible to travel to the resort by train, plane or car. Arriving by train you will, likely, be arriving at Blakcpool’s main railway station, which is Blackpool North situated on Talbot Road. Not that fat away, just a bit further down the road is Blackpool National Express Coach Station, the main coach station. The other train station, Blackpool South, is at Waterloo Road, South Promenade, closer to the Pleasure Beach. Blackpool International Airport is located about two miles south of the town centre and was known as, Blackpool Squires Gate Airport, one of the UK’s oldest airports.
Blackpool bed and breakfast accommodation is priced fairly low. Rooms are far less expensive off season and not such a bargain on Saturdays and Sundays. Blackpool hotels are most expensive while the Blackpool Illuminations are on, which is really the resort’s peak season.
A handy tip: Some B & B’s can be very busy and rather noisy especially those situated close to North Pier and Central Pier. If you rather stay somewhere not so busy try booking a place beyond the North Pier.
Scottish Vacations And 3 Grand Places to Visit Near Pitlochry
Vacations in Scotland are incredibly popular at the moment due, in part, to the strength of the $ against the pound making vacations to the United Kingdom pretty cheap, especially if travelling from outside the area. In the article below we introduce 3 grand places to visit in Pitlochry, the Scottish Hydro Electric Visitor Centre, the Killiecrankie Visitor Centre and Blair Castle.
Scottish Hydro Electric Visitor Centre
A power station is a bizarre location for a tourist center, but this is exactly where you will find the Scottish Hydro Electric Visitor Center. The center is located inside the resplendent Pitlochry Power Station, and includes interactive displays which describe the development of hydro power in Scotland, dating from the 1940’s up until the present day. The Pitlochry Dam(built 1947-1951) also offers the fascinating ability to watch the renowned salmon ladder through three viewing chambers. Within the center, you will also find audio-visual presentations and interactive which explains in detail this naturally occurring display. The turbine hall of Pitlochry Power Station can also be seen from inside the Visitor Center.
Blair Castle
Blair Castle can be dated as far back as the thirteenth century and is the ancient seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl. The construction of Blair Castle started in the year 1269, under the supervision of the Lord of Badenoch, John I Comyn, a northerly acquaintance of the Earl of Atholl. The Earl was away, fighting in the Crusade’s, when his neighbor began to build of his castle on his land. As soon as the Earl returned he complained to King Alexander III of Scotland about his neighbor, and his lands were returned. Rather than demolishing the tower than John I Comyn had built, the Earl decided to incorporate the tower into his own castle. A Great Hall and a number of vaulted chambers were added to the castle over the centuries, by subsequent Earls. It was the second Duke of Atholl who, in 1740, decided to remodel the castle as a Georgian Mansion.
Killiecrankie Visitor Centre
During the era of the Jacobites Killiecrankie, not too far from Pitlochry, was full of the crys of battle. The government soldiers were soundly defeated by the rebel army of the Jacobites, under the guidance of Bonnie Dundee. During the bloodthirsty battle a soldier escaped by jumping across the River Garry, which subsequently became known as, Soldier’s Leap. The area of the Pass and gorge were a favored place of Queen Victoria.
To learn concerning the infamous battle one should visit the Killiecrankie Visitor Centre. The center has a selection of otherpresentations and services, which include; guided walks, ranger service’s and a natural history of the area and many more.
If you are thinking about having a vacation in Scotland based in Pitlochry then you can find Pitlochry hotels online by using the search “Pitlochry hotel accommodation” in your favorite search engine.

This tour is brilliant for people who love animals like myelf as well as for anyone who generally wants to learn things about planet earth.
Beaches-
The five beaches add to all of the things you can do whilst holidaying here. These beaches are Torre Abbey Sands, Oddicombe, Meadfoot, Paignton and Goodrington.
